Casa de Miel, Tortola Rentals
One of the choices for a great places to stay in Tortola is Casa de Miel.
Casa de Miel was placed high in the hillside with a curving road to bring you
privacy. Not only do you have a wonderful hillside to explore, fertile with
trees, but you also have the turquoise ocean beckoning close by. You have a view
of the Cane Garden Bay below with white sand, palm trees, and yachts.
Once you reach the top of the hill you will discover the private Casa de Miel
offering a parking area in front of the home. There is a wooden door
magnificently crafted to welcome you to the villa which was created out of
native stone and burnt orange. The entrance doorway leads into the pool and
patio area. From the pool deck you are able to see the ocean below and the
islands surrounding Tortola.
The Casa de Miel is air conditioned for your comfort. The house itself is
in a decagon shape offering something a little different than the other villas
surrounding you. There is a three level pool deck off the left side of the villa
with a pavilion for shade. The main level of the home has the living room,
dining area, and fully stocked kitchen. The kitchen was made with a wall of
iridescent glass tiles. From the dining and living area you are able to go out
sliding glass doors that offer ocean views. The rooms are circular in design.
The living area is going to have a large screen television, with DVD and CD
player.
From the living room of Casa de Miel you have the two air conditioned bed
rooms. Each room has its own bath room. In one bedroom you have a queen bed
with cable television and a stone lined shower in the bathroom. The second door
from that bath leads to the kitchen for your convenience. The other room is the
master suite with cable television, walk in closet, and more glass tile work in
the bathroom. It has a double vanity and walk in shower to complete the
bathroom. In the living room you have a door leading to the stonework balcony.
From the balcony views of the ocean’s blue water and sunsets can be seen.

For activities outside of the Casa de Miel you have Cane Garden Bay that is just
a few minutes drive. You can enjoy the beach bars, restaurants, dancing, water,
and meet some of the islanders. One Wednesday nights at the villa you will have
a prepared meal of Caribbean cuisine. You are able to choose the meat offered at
the meal as well as the wine available. The price range of this villa is from
450 to 1000 dollars depending on the time of year you visit as well as how many
rooms you will rent.
