Spaghetti Junction

Now, Spaghetti Junction is housed in a spectacular building, formerly the Beach Club Terrace, in an unrivalled landmark location in Baughers Bay, just a four minute ride from the town center.

Diners can sit in this carefree, elegant dining room and look out through the impressive arched French windows overlooking the bay while enjoying some of the best Italian food possible.

Spaghetti Junction-more than pasta.

Make no mistake, this is not simply a pasta place – this is a culinary delight. April, whose Italian background has had a great influence on the menu at Spaghetti Junction, is a firm believer that ‘allowing only the best products and ingredients are the secrets to good Italian food’.

And good Italian food is exactly what you’ll get here.

The number of locals you’ll find eating here together with the number of people who make this a regular eating place on their return journeys to Tortola perfectly illustrate the endearing nature of the restaurant, its friendly staff and its quality cuisine.

The Italian ‘classics’ are, of course, featured on the menu – with the Osso Buco, Chicken Parmigiana, Spinach and Mushroom Lasagna and Penne pasta with smoked salmon all earning plaudits from customers. To reflect the quality of local ingredients and Caribbean flavors, though, ‘the Junction’ also offers grilled fresh snapper topped with a mango purée and diced fresh mangoes; beef tenderloin stuffed with lobster and shrimp in a sumptuous macadamia nut cream sauce served over a bed of rice; a fantastic frutta di mare served in a light cream sauce over angel-hair pasta; and what is generally regarded as the very best Lobster Thermidor on the whole island.

It is indicative of the quality of the food that John was named as Restauranteur of the Year in 2004. Impressively too, the Junction has also won the BVI’s Best Wine Cellar award on three separate occasions this decade.

Spaghetti Junction, the Bat Cave

There is nothing about Spaghetti Junction that you won’t like – the location, the décor, the view, the food and the wine all make this restaurant a great favorite with locals and visitors alike. And when you’ve finished eating and feel that you want to make a night of it, you can simply wander round to the Bat Cave Bar and Nightclub, in the same building, where you can dance to the beats of the Virgin Island’s best DJs playing both the best in Caribbean music and some of the classic ‘oldies’. The bar remains open well after the food service has finished.

Spaghetti Junction can be contacted on 284 4944880 and there is more information about the restaurant on www.spaghettijunction.net.

Do try it; I’m sure you won’t regret it.
