Arundel Villa has clean, cottage-style lines with plantation high ceilings to encourage cooler temperatures indoors, perfect bamboo and white linen décor, and sliding wooden French doors that lead out onto beautiful romantic patios overlooking the sea and the vivid green jungles surrounding it. Located in Luck Hill, the view must be described as stunning; from this mountainside perch, you have panoramic views of the ocean and fifteen islands.

Bedrooms are separated into pavilions, with most living space blending seamlessly with outdoors. The master bedroom is nothing short of amazing, with a tatami reading room and marble deck complementing the unique indoor-outdoor shower. The rest of the living space is equally remarkable, located in a fourth larger pavilion: a wet bar, baby grand piano, and elephant bamboo furnishings in the living area. There's a dining room here near the gourmet kitchen, but alfresco dining by the pool is preferable on nice days and evenings.

That's because the pool and hot tub are located on Arundel Villa's huge garden terrace, which is decorated with tropical gardens, a fountain, and a fish pond. You won't want to spend a minute indoors once you've seen this. Sitting out here with a book or your friends, gazing from your secluded deck at the islands, sunsets, and diamond-starred night sky, you will truly understand what it means to live luxuriously in the tropics.

Arundel Villa Amenities

Arundel Villa's three queen bedrooms are designed for up to six guests (including children), and have air conditioning and private bathrooms, with an indoor-outdoor shower in the master bedroom. There are three additional outdoor showers to keep the sand out. The nice-sized pool is complemented by an additional six-person hot tub. A gas barbecue grill can be used when you tire of the gourmet kitchen.

Maid service is provided four days a week. Guests are allowed to smoke. As for amenities, Arundel Villa was designed so that guests would never have to go elsewhere once they arrived.  Every bedroom has cable television, DVDs, VCRs, iPod docking stations, and a safe. In addition, bathrobes, fine soaps, and shampoos are provided. Most Tortuga villas have a media library; Arundel Villa's library is particularly extensive, with a wide selection of music and movies, and Bose indoor/outdoor speakers to play them on. You can also arrange for private massage sessions.

To stay connected with the real world, you have wi-fi access via a DSL line and a dedicated fax. For down time, hammocks, snorkeling gear, beach chairs and umbrellas, and pool toys are provided. There's also a portacrib for the smallest guests.

A seven-night minimum stay is required. On your request, provisions can be stocked before you arrive. You can also engage a professional chef for one or several meals.

Nearby Attractions

Though Arundel Villa has beautiful views, its mountainside location makes it a little more distant from beaches. Cane Garden Bay and Brewers Bay are both about ten minutes away by car. Road Town, with all its shops, restaurants, and marina access, is about fifteen minutes driving distance.
