Sebastian’s On the Beach Restaurant
If you love beach bars, you’ll love Sebastian’s, one of
Tortola’s favorite dining spots.

Delightfully situated in Little Apple Bay, you can choose
to sit either inside in a romantic candle-lit atmosphere or outside just a few
feet from the waves on the comfortable palm-fringed terrace and watch the surf
as it breaks against the shore. |
Sebastian’s, when you live in your bathing suit..
If you’re a real sun junkie then there’s an open courtyard
where you can catch rays most of the day.
Sebastian’s is a great place to pop in for lunch when
you’re at the beach – they provide delicious sandwiches – hot or cold, West
Indian fritters, chicken and conch rotis, super spicy chicken wings and a
classic Caesar salad.
Romance at Sebastian’s
At night, though, the restaurant is altogether more
romantic, when you can sit and admire the pelicans in the water and the great
Tortola sunsets, and when the menu is packed with zest and flair. Especially
recommended specialties from the dinner menu include the grilled chicken breast
with the chef’s own ginger sauce; the garlic Shrimp in Paradise; the Surf and
Turf, which consists of a lobster tail served in lime butter alongside a filet
mignon; and a fabulous Jamaican Jerk Chicken. It almost goes without saying
that the fresh fish of the day, pan-fried, grilled or blackened – is going to be
superb as well.
An added feature of Sebastian’s is that all the breads
and pastries are completely home-made and are uniformly delicious.
They also offer an after dinner ‘treat’ of a complimentary
sample of their famous home blended rum. Even if you think you don’t like rum,
try this – it’s delicious. And if you still don’t like it, I’m sure there’s
somebody else on your table who will see that it’s not wasted! You can, if you
really take to it, buy a bottle to take home.
A really indulgent way to round off your meal is to treat
yourself to a Sebastian’s Rum Coffee, which has the freshly brewed coffee and
rum topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg.
‘Naughty but nice’ doesn’t begin to describe this heavenly drink.
You’ll soon come to understand why Sebastian’s has such a
glowing reputation – the friendly staff; the live bands each weekend; the
exceptional food at thoroughly reasonable prices; and the perfect Caribbean
beach location all combine to make for a night to remember.
If you want to book a table, then telephone Sebastian’s at
